Ohio Supreme Court justice candidate Terri Jamison spoke to 25 Democrats at the Cardington Café March 8. Jamison told about her 11 years of experience as a judge; first being elected to the Franklin Court of Common Pleas in 2012 and elected to the 10th District Court of Appeals in 2020.

Health District set to relocate


At its Feb. 26 meeting, the Morrow County Board of Commissioners awarded the bid for renovation of the building at 480 Douglas St., which will become the new home of the Morrow County Health District, to Stevens Construction in the amount of $1,471,576.90.

Gilmore second in state


After placing eighth in the state meet as a freshman last year, Highland’s Cael Gilmore made a huge improvement at The Ohio State University’s Schottenstein Center last weekend as a sophomore.

Three Northmor wrestlers place


Thanks to three state placers, the Northmor wrestling team flirted with a top-10 showing in the Division III state meet before finishing in a tie for 15th place with 35.5 points.
