Perry Cook Memorial Library kicks off its summer reading Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m. with a drum circle facilitated by Lori Fithian’s “Drummunity” program. The summer reading challenge will run from June 10 to July 20, with programs every Wednesday.

The Strand Theatre’s Free Summer Kids Series was renamed in 2023 to The Sandy Hardymon Free Summer Kids Series. The popular series, a staple in Delaware County for decades, will run from June 4 to July 30 this year at the historic cinema, 28 E. Winter St. in Delaware.

The Morrow County Ready for Hire program at the Tomorrow Center in Cardington will offer a diverse array of classes for high school students during its Summer Program from June 3 through July 3. Classes will be offered to ninth- through 12th-grade students Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with classes offered at flexible times to fit into busy summer schedules.
