For the second consecutive year, Morrow County Hospital has been recognized as a 2024 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital, and the only hospital recognized in Ohio.

Selover Public Library in Chesterville held its second “Officially Speaking” event on Feb. 28. Morrow County Commissioner Jon Mason joined a small group of Chesterville, Marengo, and Sparta residents to enjoy some light refreshments and to talk about himself and his role as a county commissioner.

At a March 13 Morrow County Hospital (MCH) celebration, Troy Brown, a network consultant and performance improvement specialist at The Chartis Center for Rural Health, reported on how MCH came to be designated as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital out of 1,353 critical access hospitals in the United States.

Bruce Fissell, commander of Morrow County Joint Veterans Council (JVC) and Darci Hendrickson, JVC treasurer, presented a Certificate of Appreciation on March 13 to the owners of Superior Outdoor Management for donating their landscape services at the Veterans Memorial in Mount Gilead.

Morrow County Board of Developmental Disabilities invites the public to join it in celebrating Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. This March, we are celebrating the ways those with disabilities inspire kindness in our community as well as the ways others inspire kindness in us.

Morrow Workforce Alliance is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative aimed at equipping graduating high school seniors with the essential skills for successful careers in manufacturing. Titled emPOWER Morrow (Preparing Our Workforce for Employment Readiness), this four-week course offers a comprehensive training program designed to emPOWER graduating high school seniors with the tools they need to excel in the manufacturing industry.
