The Northmor baseball team had a strong offensive performance against visiting Danville on Monday in claiming a 12-3 victory.

The Golden Knights tallied 13 hits in the game. with Grant Bentley picking up four singles. Bryce Cooper and Nick Armrose both had a double and single, while Trevor Brubaker and Jack Bowdre added doubles. Also, Drew Hammond contributed a pair of singles. Hammond also was the winning pitcher, as he and Brubaker combined to strike out nine and walk two, while giving up four hits.

Cardington Pirates

Pitching led Cardington to a win over visiting East Knox on Monday by a 2-0 count.

The Pirates, who got both of their runs in the first inning, got six shutout innings by A.J. Hall, who earned the win. He and Caden Dewitt combined to strike out two and walk three, while only surrendering three hits.

Both Hall and Wyatt Wade picked up two singles in the contest.

Mount Gilead Indians

Mount Gilead was outscored by host Fredericktown on Monday by a 13-3 margin.

The Indians were held to three singles in the contest. On the mound, Gage Baker, who suffered the loss, and Cameron Vickers combined to give up 13 hits and four walks, while striking out three.
