The Cardington Pirates girls’ basketball team earned the third seed in the Division III girls’ basketball tournament. After a first round bye, they will begin postseason play at home on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. Their opponent will be the winner of a Wednesday, Feb. 16 contest between Mount Gilead and Grandview Heights. That game will be hosted by the Indians and take place at 7 p.m.
In Division IV, Northmor earned the sixth seed. They will open at home on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. against Granville Christian Academy.
Highland, competing in Division II, will start their tournament on Friday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. at fifth-seeded Bexley.
