Northmor’s Hayes Bentley finished in 16th place out of 36 golfers in the Division III boys’ golf meet hosted by Denison Golf Club on Wednesday.
Bentley shot 83 on the day, but only the top team and top individual not on that team advanced to the state meet.
The Cardington boys’ team also was in the meet, where they placed sixth. Logan Doubikin led the way by shooting 92, while Cayman Spires scored 95, Jacob Spires shot 98, Danny Vaught had a 102 round and Christian Hand finished with a score of 111.
