The Cardington Drama Club will present a compilation of 11 different small plays that have been put together to raise awareness against bullying and to give students tools to handle the issue in a positive way.
The presentation, “The Bully Plays,” will be given Friday and Saturday, November 13-14 in the Drouhard Auditorium at the Cardington-Lincoln High School. The program will begin at 7:30 pm. Admission is $5 for adults with free admission to any school age students and those who are five and under.
Cast members are Aleigha Parson, Bobby Davis, Jared Haught, Abby Hickman, Cortney Chaney, Paige Artz, Beka Garcia, Quinn Maceyko, Gabe McAvoy, Grace Patrick, Destiny Williamson, Brianna McConnell, Sydney Chaney, Kinnedy Ratliff, Jenae Tracht, Angel Mathus, Jacelyn Mills, Hope Shade, Ally Knight, Tiona Wilson, and Makayla Eubank. Crew members are Sydney Schumann, Cameron Longstreth, Dana Artz, Mason Martin and Matt Craig. Tracy Williamson is the director.
The following plays will be dramatized: Alex by Jose Casas, Blu by Gloria Bond Clunie; The Bully Pulpit by Dwayne Hartford, Bystander Blues by Trish Lindberg, The Conundru by Brett Neveu, Downhill by Eric Coble, Gasp, Farrah and Monster by Jose Cruz Gonzalez; Here Be Dragons by Doug Cooney; The New Kid by Richard Dresser; Nobody Nose by Barry Kornhauser and Beasts by Ernie Nolan.
