Submitted Photo Second Lt. Jez Eggeman and Sgt. Chrystal White were the Perry Cook Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Heroes for the week of July 8. Eggeman has been in the Air National Guard for nine years and White for seven years. They are members of the Red Horse Unit. They brought a helmet, a vest that weighs almost 55 pounds, coins and shrapnel for the children and teens to see. They both told interesting points about the Air National Guard. The children also had many questions to ask them! On July 15, the library will have “Paul Adams-Super Hero Math Show” at 10:30 a.m. It will be the last program. For more information, the library’s phone number is 419-362-7181.
