Ranked first in Division II in Ohio according to MaxPreps and second according to the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association, Highland opened their postseason in dominating fashion.
On Monday night, the Scots disposed of Beechcroft by scores of 25-3, 25-4 and 25-3 in the first round of sectional action. Tabitha Arnold finished with eight aces, while Emma West added seven and Darcie Walters finished with five. Kendall Stover tallied eight kills and five aces and both Kenzee Bargnesi and Gena West contributed five kills.
Also, the Highland seventh grade and freshmen teams won their KMAC championships on Saturday to add to the program’s recent accolades.
