Northmor played Danville evenly through five innings, but gave up five runs in the sixth in losing a 7-2 road contest to the Blue Devils.

Both Kate Kissling and Madison Simpson had a double and single for the Golden Knights. Shelby Cooper picked up the decision. She and Ava Walters combined to strike out three, walk seven and give up seven hits.

Highland Scots

Highland was topped at home by Loudonville on Friday by a 4-0 count.

The Scots were held to four singles in the game, with Kate Clements picking up two of them. Kelsey Munday went the distance on the mound. She gave up 10 hits and walked two, while also striking out two.
