VOLLEYBALL: Highland takes sole possession of first place in Blue; Northmor tops Bulldogs

In a battle of teams undefeated in Blue Division play, host Highland took over first place with a 25-16, 25-23, 25-17 win over Centerburg on Tuesday.

The Scots (11-0, 5-0) got 14 kills and 11 digs from Ashton Terrill, while Brogin Denman added eight kills and 17 digs. Sierra Mailey finished with nine kills, while Kelsey Walters had six. Also, Bridget Oder tallied three aces and 17 digs, Taylor Belcher had 16 assists and Jorden Goodman picked up 10 assists.

Northmor Knights

Northmor’s volleyball team got back on the winning path Tuesday with a 25-9, 25-10, 25-16 win over East Knox.

The Knights got 18 assists and three aces from Jordyn Zoll, while Erica McElvain added nine assists and Mikayla Briggs recorded three blocks and seven kills. Rayanna Loyer tallied one block and one ace, Anna Donner picked up seven kills and 11 digs and Kelsie Fike added four kills and two aces.

Also, Lindsey Wiseman had 14 digs, Cristianna Boggs tallied 10 digs and Karlee Carroll picked up 10 digs and four kills.
