Feb. 29- Driving under suspension

Police cited a driver on West High Street for driving under suspension.

March 1- Domestic dispute

A North Rich Street resident called police regarding a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers arrested a man with an active warrant out of Florida.

March 1- Assist other unit

Police were called to assist the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office in transporting a suicidal prisoner.

March 2- Assist other unit

Mount Gilead Police were dispatched to assist the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office with an intoxicated male who was resisting arrest.

March 3- Theft

A West High Street resident had a lock box stolen from his vehicle.

March 3- Threats

Police investigated a complaint from at a Lincoln Avenue residence after a renter threatened to damage a rental property if he was not returned his security deposit.

March 6- Driving under suspension

A driver on East Union Street was cited for driving under suspension.

March 6- Domestic dispute

An officer was dispatched to Westview Drive residence for a well being check. After arriving on the scene the officer launched a domestic violence investigation.

March 6- Civil process

The Westview Drive resident was accompanied by officers to retrieve her children and belongings after an alleged domestic dispute.

March 7- Domestic complaint

Police were notified of an altercation on West High Street.

March 7- Threats

Police were dispatched to East Cedar Street residence to investigate a complaint from a female subject who had been verbally assaulted from a vehicle. The caller stated that the incident stemmed from an altercation at the Community Center.

March 7- Juvenile complaint

Mount Gilead Police were notified of an out of control student at Park Avenue Elementary. Upon arrival, an officer found the student throwing books and other items in the school conference room. Police notified the parents that the student assaulted another student, staff and the officer on the scene.

March 8- Assist other unit

Police were called to assist with a unresponsive person at Kroger.

March 9- Public intoxication

A male subject was noticeably intoxicated at a West High Street business. He attempted to purchase more alcohol but was denied sale. He left the business but later returned and was again denied sale.

March 9- Narcotics complaint

A Buckeye Lane resident found a marijuana pipe in her front yard. Police destroyed the paraphernalia.

Feb. 25- Fight

Police were dispatched to Center Street to investigate a physcial altercation between two males. Upon arrival, the pair were continuing with a verbal argument. The officer cleared the scene without further incident.
