DOMESTIC ISSUE

Officer investigated a domestic complaint involving family members on Hickory Lane. It was resolved.

FIGHT, PURSUIT

Responding to a call at Boondocks on State Route 61, a man left driving at a high rate of speed. It was reported by those at the scene that he was the aggressor at the site. Officer, along with Ohio Highway Patrol trooper and a Morrow County Sheriff’s deputy, pursued the vehicle. The vehicle came to a stop in a driveway on SR 61 and the driver was apprehended.

COMPLAINT

A call involving an altercation between two men involving a truck resulted in an investigation. There have been several complaints regarding a white truck traveling at a high rate of speed on Orchard Lane. The incident was documented.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE

A man was cited for driving under suspension on West Marion Road.

VANDALISM

It was discovered that someone used red paint to write phrases on the football field at Mount Gilead High School.

SIGN STRUCK

A church bus struck a sign at Park Avenue and Main Street and continued driving. The bus was located and driver advised he had knocked over a speed limit sign.

HARASSMENT

A resident reported being harassed online by someone from out of state. Attempts to block the caller have failed.

WALKING IMPAIRED

A man and a woman walking along West Marion Road were acting as though they were under the influence. Field sobriety test was performed. Had the woman been driving she was informed she would have been arrested for a DUI.

COMPLAINT

Officer checked on a couple that were having domestic issues. Everything was reported to be fine.

THREATS MADE

A woman reported a man she knows made threats to her online.

NO PERMIT

Two women were found to be soliciting for an energy company without a permit in the village. They were advised to obtain the proper permit.

ASSIST AT SCENE

Officer assisted at the scene of an injury accident at U.S. 42 and County Road 110.

NON-INJURY CRASH

A crash on West Marion Street resulted in no injuries after a motorist pulled out from a parking space and struck the second vehicle.
