Vehicle left
Morrow County Hospital reported a car had been left parked in the lot for about two weeks. The owner resides in Lancaster; it was not reported stolen.
Concealed weapon
A man was reported with a gun at 525 West Marion Road. The suspect was located at a local retail outlet, where the firearm was recovered. He was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Public intoxication
A man was arrested for disorderly conduct/public intoxication on North Delaware and West High streets.
Phone taken
A man said he left his cellular phone lying at the checkout counter at a grocery store. It is unknown what happened to the phone. It was left there at 6 p.m. Sept. 12. The store is working to determine what happened to the phone.
Public intoxication
A man was found to be intoxicated inside a store. He was issued a summons for public intoxication.
Theft reported
A business on North Main Street reported a theft. No other details were released.
Crash reported
A woman reported her vehicle was struck by another vehicle on West High Street. Surveillance video revealed the owner of the vehicle at fault.
Traffic offense
Officer cited a woman for non compliance and expired registration on West Marion Road.
Fighting
A fight involving multiple suspects was investigated at Hidden Lakes. Two subjects were arrested without incident.
Hit/skip reported
A woman reported her vehicle had been struck on the left front panel by an unknown object.
Assisting unit
Officer and K-9 officer assisted Ohio Highway Patrol unit with a stop. The driver was arrested for drugged driving under the influence.
Vehicle struck
A motorist said his vehicle was struck by another vehicle on South Main and East Center streets. The driver of the second vehicle was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Narcotics complaint
A man was arrested on an active warrant out of Morrow County at Lee and North Delaware streets. Suspected methamphetamine, heroin and drug paraphernalia were found and sent for testing.
Multiple charges
A man was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence, driving under suspension, expired registration and endangering children in the 300 block of West High Street.
Theft from vehicle
A man reported an alleged theft from his vehicle on South Rich Street. He claimed $235 in cash and medicine was taken.
