Dwight Murphy, president of the Morrow County Antique Tractor and Equipment Association, said the 28th annual Farm Days was a real success.

The three-day event wrapped up Sunday.

There were more than 100 tractors of all makes displayed with more than 30 of the Cockshutt tractor, the theme tractor this year.

Mild weather helped bring an almost record number of people to the truck and tractor pulls, Murphy said.

More people watched the demonstrations this year than in the past. He also thanked Peak Auction for the popular Consignment Sale on Saturday.

“We had a good number of flea market vendors and the farm toy display is always an attraction,” he said. “I really think we get better every year.”

“We are doing our best to keep our agricultural heritage alive,” Murphy said, noting the feature tractor in 2018 will be the International Harvester.

Peyton Warren has fun on the pedal pull tractor during Farm Days Saturday. The Cockshutt 570 tractor, was this year’s theme tractor at Farm Days. It is owned by Jim Flynn of Burbank, Ohio. This is one of two Cockshutt tractors Flynn brought to the Farm Days Show. He bought this one three years ago in Canada and “it was a basket case.” Owner and operator of Pine Run Farm Repair and Restoration in Burbank, he and his twin sons, his daughter and her boyfriend, put the tractor back together and painted it. This year was the 28th year of Farm Days as they welcomed The Buckeye Regional Cockshutt/Co-Op Club.
