During the first weekend of March, downtown Cardington welcomed a new business, Audrey Jane’s Place, at 122 W. Main St. across from the American Legion Park.

Co-owner and operators Kris Jackson and Kellie Howard opened up the local craft store that will feature small, independent vendors in a central location for shoppers to get all of their needs. The establishment is named after their grandmother, Audrey Jane Edwards, who was their family treasure.

“It’s our honor to dedicate this business in loving memory of our grandma Audrey Jane Edwards,” said the owners.

Items such as woodworkings, paintings, wreath, pottery, and other creations are on display and for sale along with homemade goodies such as cookies, breads and brownies, too.

The Morrow County Chamber of Commerce sponsored the day’s events.
