MOUNT GILEAD — Howard Hanna Realcom Realty held a fall pumpkin contest for grades kindergarten through fifth in all four Morrow County school districts.

Each class was provided a pumpkin to decorate and show off their creativity. Howard Hanna agents picked two winning pumpkins, one from grades K-2 and one from grades 3-5.

Winning classes received a trophy and a pizza party. The winners were as follows:

Cardington: Mrs. Ramoneda, 2nd grade; Mrs. Levings, 4th grade.

Northmor: Mrs. Young/Ms. Manning, 4th grade; Miss Fout, kindergarten.

Highland: Mrs. Louis, 2nd grade; Mrs. Thompson, 4th grade.

Mount Gilead: Mrs. Rocks, 2nd grade; Mrs. Conrad, 5th grade art club.

The pumpkins are on display at the Howard Hanna office, 116 S. Main St, Mount Gilead. The other pumpkins were delivered to local nursing and rehabilitation centers and adult group homes for residents to enjoy.

The company hopes this was a fun and memorable event for children.
