AARP Volunteer Tax Aides need your help. We’re looking for individuals from your area to help our small tax group remain functional in Mt.Gilead. We’ve been operating with a skeleton crew of volunteers; one of our most dedicated members has fallen gravely ill which will leave us unable to continue operating our tax site at the Mt. Gilead Senior Center on Thursdays throughout the tax season unless some able bodied persons come forward to volunteer to assist us.
One needs basic computer knowledge, very basic tax knowledge and a desire to help others in a structured environment. We are just ordinary people, no rocket scientists; just caring people assisting others through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program.
