The 26th annual Farm Days enjoyed three days of perfect summer weather Aug. 7-9 and an attendance that pleased the Morrow County Tractor and Equipment Association who organize and plan the event.
Among the contest winners were: Jonda Axthelm, first; Emily Deckling, secondand Cassi Snyder, Ladies Skillet Toss
Men’s Wrench Toss: John Walker, first; Ethan Hornsby, second and Eric Hornsby, third
Little Girls Skillet Toss: Sidney Knickel, first; Alex Knickel, second and Sierra Fitzpatrick, third
First place winners were given a miniature skillet and the second and third place winners were awarded ribbons
Little Boys Wrench Toss: Falco Frank, first; Brandon Newsome, second and Houston Frank, third
Raffle winners were Jim Burns, winning the John Deere Pedal Tractor; Shelly Hemmer, Morrow County House of Trophies won the $75 raffle and Chris Ison, $50.
Coloring contest winners were Alex Nolting, first age group; Savannah Muller, second age group and Ava Walters, third age group
Kids Pedal Pull winners: Ages 3-4 Class 1: Ryan Fulton, first; Colton Metro, second; Ages 5-6: Class 2: Austin Krabill, first; Conner Metro, second; Ages 7-8, Class 3: Katie Statler, first; Miles Ginn, second; Ages 9-10: Class 4: Nathan Krabill, first; Caleb Hunter, second; Ages 11-12: Class 5: Nicholas Harringer, first; Jordan Welch, second
Jon Axthelm, a trustee with the club, said they had raised over $500 during the event that was given to Gary Frazier, a club member.
Axthelm said the 27th Farm Days will feature the Oliver tractor when it is held August 5, 6 and 7th, 2016.
