March 10– Assault

Police were called to the Duke gas station on West High Street to respond to an assault complaint.

March 10- Trespassing

Staff at the Morrow County Community Center called the department after a banned person began to argue with employees. He left prior to the officers arrival.

March 10- Assist other unit

Police were called to assist the Morrow County EMS to transport an elderly man to the Morrow County Hospital.

March 12- Assist other unit

An officer arrived at a South Main Street residence to respond to an unresponsive male.

March 12- Assault

A South Main Street resident called police to report an assault that took place at his home.

March 12- Dead on arrival

Police were called to West Center Street location where a person was found deceased at his residence.

March 12- Hazmat incident

An officer was dispatched to a South Delaware Street residence where upon arrival he found four hypodermic needles lying near the fire hydrant in front of the caller’s home.

March 13- Harassment

A caller complained that he was receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-girlfriend. The subject notified police he was going to attempt to get a restraining order at the Morrow County Municipal Court.

March 15- Juvenile complaint

Police were called to investigate a complaint that stated kids were throwing rocks at vehicles on Hickory Lane.

March 15- Animal complaint

An East North Street resident called police to notify them of his neighbor’s dog barking excessively, and that he intended to shoot it if the neighbor did not bring it inside their home.

March 16- Blocked roadway

An officer on patrol, with the help of other motorists, pulled a downed tree blocking traffic from East Marion Street.

March 16- Harassment

A caller again complained that he was receiving harassing phone calls from an ex-girlfriend. Police contacted the caller and informed her she would be charged if she did not discontinue the calls.
