The Cardington FFA chapter held its annual Greenhand Orientation when the 2015-2016 Officer team welcomed the incoming freshman to the program.

They first introduced themselves and after the warm welcome, the officers broke into groups of two to three people. The freshmen were also divided into groups that rotated between stations.

At each station a different leadership and team building activity took place allowing the new officers to get to know the newcomers better.

Chapter Advisor Erin Wollett and Krista Betti met with the parents to discuss what should be expected throughout the school year and a review of coming events.

Following the orientation, a pool party was held at the Cardington pool. All current FFA members were invited. Hot dogs, snacks and beverages were provided along with some fun activities.

This was a great opportunity for upper classmen and freshmen to get to know each other and it had everyone excited for another great year.
