Mount Gilead Police, Morrow County Fire Control respond to overdose in Lee Street Parking lot

June 9- Investigate complaint

Mount Gilead Police investigated a vehicle on North Main Street that was possibly involved in a hit and run accident in Galion.

June 9- Theft

MGPD was notified of a male who had stolen a cartload of groceries from Kroger.

June 9- Assist other unit

An officer was dispatched to a Lee Street parking lot to assist Morrow County Fire Control with a male subject who overdosed in the parking lot. Emergency perssonnel was able to revive him with Narcan before transporting him to Morrow County Hospital. He was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.

June 9- Assault

An East High Street resident reported that he was assaulted by another person. The caller was extremely intoxicated and was told to call police after he sobered.

June 10- Assist other unit

Mount Gilead Police assisted Morrow County Emergency Services with a Baker Street resident.

June 12- Traffic offense

An officer cited an East Marion Street drive for failure to reinstate.

June 12- Burglary

Mount Gilead Police were dispatched to a West Union Street residence to respond to a man attempting to gain access to a home he had previously rented.

June 13- Animal complaint

A Center Street resident called to report that her neighbor’s dog had been barking throughout the night.

June 13- Assault

A Pine Drive resident was assaulted by his caregiver.

June 14- Driving under suspension

A driver on Westview Drive was cited for driving under suspension
