HOJGA season continues at Kenton

The fifth Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament was held at Kenton’s Veterans Memorial Golf Course last Thursday.

The 16-18 age group was won by Parker Steffani of Delaware Hayes, who shot 71. Steven Street of Mount Gilead finished in a tie for fifth place with a round of 78.

The 13-18 girls’ division was taken by Maura Murphy of Pleasant, who shot 74 to continue what has been a clean sweep of the season for her. In the 13-15 age group, Matthew Ralph of Buckeye Valley shot 72 to finish in first place. Also, Casey Rogers of Wynford won the nine-hole 12-and-under group by shooting 48.
