On Saturday, Cardington fought back from an early deficit to top Centerburg by a 52-43 margin.
The Trojans held an 11-7 lead after the opening period, but the Pirates battled back to take a 26-21 lead going into the half. Centerburg cut one point off their deficit in the third, but Cardington finished strongly, taking the fourth 15-10 to remain perfect on the season.
Sage Brannon led a balanced Pirate attack with 14 points, while Summer Morgan added 11 and Paige Clinger scored 10.
Mount Gilead Indians
East Knox topped Mount Gilead on Saturday by a 38-27 margin.
A slow start doomed the Indians, as they fell behind 9-4 after the first quarter and 18-7 at the half. MG fought back in the third quarter to get within a 23-19 margin, but were outscored 15-8 in the fourth, as East Knox pulled away down the stretch.
Highland Scots
Highland was edged by Fredericktown on Saturday due to a big fourth quarter by the Freddies.
The Scots led 9-4 after the opening period, but fell into a 20-17 hole at the half. They would battle back, though, taking a 28-26 lead into the fourth quarter, but were outscored 15-5 over the final eight minutes to lose 41-33.
Raven Tilford led the Scots with eight points.
