Cardington cruised to a win over Grandview Heights in Division III sectional softball action on Thursday, taking a 17-2 win in five innings. No further information was available by deadline.
Mount Gilead Indians
Northridge was able to get out to a fast start and end Mount Gilead’s tournament stay on Thursday in a Division III contest that had been postponed from Tuesday due to weather conditions.
The Vikings scored six runs in the second inning and never looked back in getting the win. Trailing 8-0 entering the fourth, the Indians scored twice in that frame and added a run in the sixth to get within five, but then gave up two in the bottom of the inning to fall by seven.
