Highland traveled to Bishop Ready on Thursday for a non-league contest, but fell by a 4-1 margin. The Scots scored once in the top of the first, but gave up two in the bottom of the inning and two more in the second to provide all the game’s scoring.

A Conner Ulrey double provided the team’s run, as he drove in Shane Carney with the hit. However, the team finished with only three hits. Sam LoPiccolo made his debut on the mound for the Scots and suffered the loss, while Devin Schoellkopf pitched in relief.
