Highland having 3-on-3 tournament May 14

Highland will be hosting their first three-on-three basketball tournament on May 14 at 9 a.m. There also will be three-point and free throw contests. T-shirts will be given to participants and winners receive medals.

Teams can consist of up to four players. If a team is completely composed of students attending Highland schools, cost to participate is $50. For students attending elsewhere, the cost is $60 per team, and for adults, it’s $80 per team. The application deadline is April 27. Walk-ins are accepted, but t-shirts are not guaranteed.

For both male and female teams, there are multiple age groups: 10-and-under, 11-13, 14-15, 16-18, 19-25 and 26-and-older. Players may play up into an older age bracket. Age brackets are subject to change if there are not enough teams.

Applications are available at Highland High School office or by contacting Chris Rupe ([email protected]) or Whitney Levering ([email protected]).
