Mount Gilead added another win against East Knox on Saturday, taking a 67-55 win over the Bulldogs.

The Indians jumped in front 15-10 after the opening period and led 34-19 at the half. A big third quarter brought East Knox within a 46-44 margin with eight minutes remaining, but MG took the fourth 21-11 to pull away for the win.

Deondre Cook drained four three-pointers on his way to a 27-point game, while Tyler Bland added 14 and Mason Mollohan finished with 10.

Cardington Pirates

In their final regular season game, Cardington was edged by Centerburg Friday night by a 58-55 score.

The Blue Division champions held a 16-14 lead after the first quarter, which they increased to a 31-24 margin at the half. In the third, the Pirates closed within a 43-41 score, but they wouldn’t be able to get over the hump in the three-point loss.

Garrett Wagner hit three three-pointers on his way to scoring 13 points, while Derek Goodman had 11, Devin Pearl scored 10 and both Skyler Bowling and Trey Williams finished with nine.
