Northmor battled back against visiting Highland to take a 46-42 win in league play Tuesday.

The Scots jumped out to a 10-6 lead after the first quarter, which they increased to a 23-18 margin by the half. However, Northmor closed to within a 34-32 score by the end of three and tied the game at 39 when the fourth quarter ended. In the extra period, the Knights outscored Highland 7-3 to improve to 9-12, 7-6 in league play. Highland now is 6-16, 5-9.

Demetrius Johnson scored 19 points to pace Northmor, while Gunnar Lilly tallied nine. For Highland, Mack Anglin scored 16 and Alex Mason added 10.

Mount Gilead Indians

Mount Gilead jumped out to a fast start and cruised to a 59-43 win over Bucyrus Tuesday.

The Indians held a 24-5 lead after the opening period of the game and never looked back. They led 35-14 at the half and 46-23 after the third quarter on their way to picking up the victory.

MG hit 12 three-pointers in the game, with Tyler Bland draining four and scoring 20 points and Deondre Cook adding four more in his way to a 14-point outing. Also, Zack Hosack scored nine.
