The Mount Gilead girls got back into the win column on Wednesday when they played at home against Village Academy.
In their 33-7 win, Mount Gilead jumped out to an 8-2 lead after the opening period and extended it to a 17-4 halftime margin. They would then put the game away by outscoring VA 14-0 in the third.
