Highland would get back on the winning track Saturday with a 60-53 victory over Centerburg.

The Scots built a nice lead over the opening three period of play and held on for the win. They were on top 13-8 after the first quarter, 26-18 at the half and 43-32 after three periods of play. The Trojan took the final eight minutes 21-17, but would not be able to catch up to Highland.

The Scots got 16 points from Shane Carney, while Alex Mason added 12 and Mack Anglin finished with eight.

Northmor Knights

Northmor picked up a league win on Saturday by a 57-51 margin over Elgin.

The score was tied at 5-5 after the first quarter, but the Knights took the second 16-7 to take a nine-point lead into the half.

While Elgin outscored the locals 16-14 in the third quarter and 23-22 in the fourth, the Knights were able to hold onto their lead and pick up the win.
