On Wednesday, Northmor claimed a pair of wins over Mount Gilead to improve to 4-0.

The girls’ picked up a 1858-1443 decision. Maddie Hoverland had a 169-210 series for a total of 379 pins to lead all scorers, while Kourtney Rinehart rolled a 339 series. MG was led by Ashleah Levings’ total of 286 pins over two games.

In the boys’ match, a 1640-1375 win by the Golden Knights, Joe Baldinger scored 377 over two games to lead the team. Zach Govoni added a 361 series for the team. For MG, Graham Sherbourne finished with a 344 series.

Highland Scots

Both Highland bowling teams defeated Galion on Friday.

The boys took a 1859-1791 decision. While Galion’s Sean Clark had the overall high game of 221, the Scots had an overall stronger performance. Jesse Reigles led the Scots with a 193 game, while Trevor Stewart bowled 175.

The girls’ team picked up a narrow 1745-1728 decision. Faith Stewart led the Scots with the overall high game of 205 and series of 339. Camryn Taylor had a 175 game, while Paige Hicks rolled 166 and Joleigh Burson had a 155 effort.
