The Highland girls’ soccer team continued its strong play with a 3-0 win over Galion Wednesday on Senior Night.
The team, led by its 10 seniors — Madison Bolton, Madison Zamer, Mattie Ruehrmund, Madison Dudgeon, Avery Zerby, Selina Cruz, Emily White, Brooke Ratliff, Alexis Shaw and Madison Cecil — improved to 6-3-2 with the win.
Briauna Busbee scored a goal in the first period to give the team an early lead. They would then add a pair of scores in the second half, as both Emma Hinkle and Destiny Carpenter lit up the scoreboard for the Lady Scots.
