Northmor girls’ CC wins Crestline Invitational

The Northmor girls’ cross country team cruised to a win Tuesday at the Crestline Invitational.

The Lady Knights finished with 37 points to win the nine-team race, while second-place Shelby tallied 77. Northmor was led by Kristie Wright, who finished fifth in 22:02.78. Olivia Goodson was sixth in 22:14.21 and Julia Kanagy placed seventh in 22:26.35. Julianna Ditullio ran 10th in 22:28.06 and Sabrina Kelley took 11th in 22:33.34. Carolyn McGaulley placed 34th in 24:27.06 and Bailey Snyder ran 45th in 25:18.73.

Also, Maddison Yaussy was 47th.

Mount Gilead was ninth in the race, with Jadyn Shipman placing 46th in 25:20.4 and Emily Randall taking 54th in 25:44.4. Adriana Tinch took 73rd in 28:22.43, Dakota Shipman claimed 77th in 29:24.45 and Meaghan Clapper was 80th in 29:55.95. Also, Skye Shipman placed 88th in 33:34.14 and Anna Marocco was 90th in 35:08.86.

For Cardington, who didn’t have a full team, Marlo Young placed 18th in 23:13.88, Bella Scurlock claimed 42nd in 25:03.55 and Ashlee Drury ran 87th in 32:57.31.

In the 14-team boys’ race, Northmor finished fourth, Cardington was eighth and Mount Gilead placed ninth. Shelby was the meet champion.

Northmor was led by Gavvin Keen, who placed 10th in 17:19.96. Ryan Bentley finished 17th in 17:55 and Amil Upchurch took 19th in 18:00.27. Mostyn Evans was 33rd in 18:34.43 and Kooper Keen ran 35th in 18:35.72, while Austin Amens took 47th in 19:23.25 and Chase Hoover placed 51st in 19:34.

Also, B.J. White was 52nd, Alec Moore was 57th, T.J. Diehl was 60th, Kyle Price was 82nd, Austin Lewis was 92nd, Jack Sears was 107th, Zach Govoni was 108th, P.J. Lower was 123rd, Anthony Bryant was 124th, Jayden McClain was 127th, Dylan Amens was 130th, Kolton Hart was 131st and Ethan Branch was 150th.

For Cardington, Mason White placed 14th in 17:45.1. Racine Hallabrin took 31st in 18:32.53, while Kaleb Meade was 72nd in 20:18.68. Mike Rose took 91st in 21:16.86 and Devin Gheen placed 111th in 21:54.98.

Mount Gilead’s Sy Shipman finished 41st in 19:00.12, while Connor Page took 42nd in 19:06.88 and Tyler Knight ran 59th in 19:43.01. Wyatt Harriman claimed 81st in 20:47.67, Ryan Caudill was 88th in 21:05.86, Ethan Kemp took 90th in 21:10.34 and Mason Kidwell ran 97th in 21:30.43.

Also, Aiden Honzo was 102nd, Bradley Butcher was 109th, Philip Emberg was 133rd and Ethan Honzo was 140th.
