Northmor remained perfect on the season, as they defeated host Cardington by a 66-43 margin on Friday.

The game was close after the first quarter, with the Knights holding a 21-15 advantage, but they would outscore Cardington 13-7 in the second quarter and 15-5 in the third to jump out to a commanding 49-27 lead on their way to taking the 23-point win.

Both Brock Pletcher and Demetrius Johnson scored 18 points for Northmor, while Kyle Kegley added 14 and Tyler Kegley scored eight. Cardington got four three-pointers by Garrett Wagner, who led the team with 18.

Highland Scots

Highland closed their week with a road loss against Centennial Saturday.

In the 69-56 contest, Highland fell into a 19-9 deficit after the first quarter, which turned into a 42-23 margin by the half. Despite outscoring their hosts 18-13 in the third quarter and 15-14 in the fourth, they were unable to catch up to their opponents.

Kaleb Phillips led Highland with 18 points, while Mack Anglin hit four three-pointers in finishing with 16. Chris Branham tallied nine and Chase Carpenter scored eight for the Scots.
