The Mount Gilead cross country teams cruised to wins at North Union Saturday.

The boys placed six runners in the top 10 to win their race. Casey White finished first in 16:25.3, while Liam Dennis took second in 16:44.8, Kyle White ran fifth in 17:16.2 and Brett Shipman claimed seventh in 17:29.3. Brandon Stevens ran eighth in 17:35.9 and Ethan Supplee took 10th in 17:41.3, while Trevor Ball finished 19th in 18:24.5.

Also, Gavin Robinson was 21st, Tyler Clark took 23rd, Sy Shipman finished 29th, Eric Mowery ran 30th, Josh Sullivan placed 33rd, Connor Page claimed 34th, Wyatt Fricke was 44th, Nathan Weaver ran 46th, Isaac George placed 53rd, Turner Fitzpatrick ran 59th and Tyler Knight was 73rd.

The MG girls claimed the top four places in their race, with Baylee Hack winning in 18:23.5. Allison Johnson was second in 19:23.9, Olivia Millisor took third in 19:54.4 and Emily Hanft ran fourth in 19:59.5. Maddie Fitzpatrick rounded out the top five by running 14th in 22:30.3, Selia Shipman took 15th in 22:37.8 and Bridgette Millisor took 16th in 22:42.5.

Also, Makayla Weaver finished 34th, Jadyn Shipman finished 40th, Zoie Barron ran 42nd, Emily Randall took 48th, Dakota Shipman finished 50th and Kelly Baer was 58th.

Northmor Knights

Both Northmor cross country teams finished second at Buckeye Central on Saturday. The boys were in a 12-team race, while the girls competed in an 11-team event.

The boys were second to Mapleton, finishing with 91 points. Gavvin Keen took eighth place in 17:11.61, while Austin Amens took 10th in 17:15.19. Ryan Bentley ran 22nd in 17:50.24, B.J. White finished 25th in 17:56.03 and Chase Hoover was 29th in 18:07.24. Kaleb Hart finished 34th in 18:23.23, while Alec Moore placed 42nd in 18:38.73.

Also, Mostyn Evans was 62nd, Kooper Keen finished 71st, Manny Heilman ran 73rd, Kolton Hart was 81st, Sam Weaver ran 89th, Kyle Price took 115th and Josh Cramer placed 143rd.

The girls, who were only topped by Hopewell-Loudon, as Samantha Peters was third in 20:32.2. Kristie Wright placed 11th in 21:08, while Julia Kanagy ran 15th in 21:34.28 and Brooke Bennett placed 20th in 21:54.86. Sabrina Kelley was 22nd in 22:03.02, Olivia Goodson ran 34th in 22:26.77 and Maddie Jordan finished 37th in 22:34.06.

Also, Samantha Grogg was 69th, Kenadie Hart ran 71st, Carolyn McGaulley took 81st, Francesa Cutrupi placed 82nd and Tori Carver claimed 107th.

Cardington Pirates

Cardington’s boys finished 19th out of 26 teams at Saturday’s Pickerington North Invitational.

Mason White was 21st in 17:01 to pace the Pirates, while Quinn Maceyko took 90th in 18:40 and Racine Hallabrin was 119th in 19:12. Spencer Benson placed 158th in 19:54 and Kaleb Meade took 162nd in 20:00. Also, Devin Gheen claimed 240th in 22:47 and Andrew Schoppelrei finished 273rd in 25:15.

The girls took 18th in a 19-team race. Alicia McElwee led the way, running 86th in 22:45, while Sage Brannon was 126th in 24:01. Also, Maddie Brehm placed 181st in 25:42, Marlo Young was 238th in 30:04 and Ashlee Drury ran 247th in 31:34.
