Two days after being edged in five sets by Highland, Northmor was on the winning end of a five-set match, as they got past Fredericktown by a 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 15-25, 19-17 count.

Jordyn Zoll finished with 19 assists, one ace, 12 digs and six kills; while Caitlin Thebeault picked up 24 assists, two aces and seven kills. Hanna Bentley had two aces, Cristianna Boggs added 24 digs and Anna Donner finished with 15 digs, 19 kills and three blocks.

Also, Aly Blunk had nine digs, Leslie Brubaker contributed 14 kills and five blocks, Kelsie Fike added four kills and Hope Miracle tallied a pair of blocks.

Highland Scots

While Highland’s streak of 185 consecutive winning sets in league volleyball matches was ended by Northmor on Tuesday, the Scots were able to keep their consecutive match streak alive — a number they boosted to 63 after defeating Danville Thursday by a 25-8, 25-14, 25-16 score.

They got 13 kills from Raina Terry in the win, while Makenna Belcher added five aces and three kills, Bridget Oder finished with three aces and Krista Walters tallied four kills.
