Highland competed in the Division II regional track and field meet hosted by Lexington Thursday.

Taylor Belcher paced the Scot performance, as she took eighth place in the high jump, clearing 5’1” in the process. Belcher also ran in the 3200-meter relay along with Laura Spearman, Christina Rose and Alex Debord. That team placed 14th.

For the boys’ team, Brock Veley competed in the preliminary heats of the 100 and Austyn Albanese ran in the 400 prelims, but neither were able to advance to Saturday’s finals.
