Highland advanced to the district finals on Thursday with an 11-0 win over host Granville.

The game was closer than the score indicated for most of the way. Highland broke a scoreless tie with two runs in the fourth inning and then blew away the Aces with a nine-run sixth inning.

Mack Anglin pitched a two-hit shutout, not letting a single runner get past second base. Meanwhile, the Scots cracked 12 hits, with Lane Ballard getting three and Tate Tobin, Clay Matthews, Sam LoPiccolo and Reese Weissenfluh all picking up two.

Highland will next play Bishop Watterson on Monday in a bid to advance to the district finals.
