Highland grabbed another hard-fought win on Saturday, as the Scots pulled away from East Knox in the fourth quarter to take a 54-39 win in the road game.

While the Scots outscored their opponents in all four quarters, the game would be close through the first three. Highland led 13-10 after the opening eight minutes, 22-18 at the half and 34-29 after three periods. However, they outscored their opponents 20-10 over the course of the final period to finish on top by 15.

Mack Anglin led the team with 16 points, while Max Schreiber added 10 and Alex Mason scored nine.

Mount Gilead Indians

On Saturday, Mount Gilead was edged by Centerburg in their first Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference game by a 53-48 margin at home.

The Indians led for most of the game, but the Trojans rallied in the second half to take the win. MG had a 19-10 advantage after the first quarter and maintained a nine-point lead at 35-26 going into the half. Centerburg closed within a 43-38 margin after three quarters of play, though, and then outscored the Indians 17-5 in the fourth to steal the win.

Jason Bolha led MG with 12 points, while Zack Hosack added 10, Austin Vanderkooi finished with nine and Mason Mollohan picked up eight.
