Highland got out to a fast start at East Knox on Saturday and never looked back in winning 39-19.

The Scots jumped out to a 13-2 lead after the first quarter and went on to outscore their opponents 11-7 in the second, 9-6 in the third and 6-4 in the fourth as they pulled away for the 20-point win.

Mount Gilead Indians

Mount Gilead couldn’t maintain a strong start in falling 69-43 to Centerburg on Saturday.

The Indians only trailed 18-16 after the opening eight minutes of play, but were outscored 18-7 in the second quarter to fall into a 36-23 hole. Centerburg then outscored the locals 15-11 in the third quarter and 18-9 in the fourth to clinch the win.

Madison Fitzpatrick led MG with 16 points, while Baylee Hack added 11.
