Mount Gilead swept the team titles in the Division III races at the McGowan Invitational at Watkins Memorial — the same course where local teams will run on for districts.

The boys, who won a 23-team race, were led by individual champion Austin Hallabrin, who won in 16:25. Casey White finished third in 17:15, while Nick Weiss was fourth in 17:20 and Liam Dennis took ninth in 17:53. Trevor Ball ran 19th in 18:34, Kyle White took 25th in 18:54 and Brandon Stevens was 34th in 19:11.

Also, Gavvin Keen was 45th, Riley Conners finished 52nd, Colton Clark ran 53rd, Gavin Robinson took 57th, Tyler Clark was 74th, Sy Shipman ran 98th, Isaac George placed 100th, Connor Page took 118th, Josh Brown ran 135 and Nathan Johnson finished in 142nd.

In the girls’ meet, MG took first of 20 squads. Baylee Hack was sixth in 20:56, while Darcy Picker took ninth in 21:35 and Hannah Bush ran 10th in 21:41. Micah James finished 15th in 22:22, while Maddie Fitzpatrick was 20th in 22:55. Bridgette Millisor finished 41st in 24:02 and Makayla Weaver ran 54th in 24:46.

Also, Jadyn Shipman was 59th, Savannah Randall placed 93rd, Zoie Barron ran 114th, Dakota Shipman placed 137th, Deani Smith was 139th, Monica Lawrence placed 154th, Samantha Sullivan finished 160th and Kelly Baer was 167th.

Northmor took fifth place in the boys’ meet, with Mostyn Evans placing 28th in 18:59, James Walker placing 30th in 19:02.8 and A.J. White finishing 31st in 19:04.6. B.J. White finished 44th in 19:30.8, Ryan Bentley took 60th in 19:51.9, Manny Heilman was 68th in 20:06.2 and Kyle Price placed 73rd in 20:18.8.

Also, Kaleb Hart was 97th, Austin Amens took 120th, Calvin Komer ran 126th, Alec Moore finished 129th, Kolton Hart placed 156th and Ethan Chapman claimed 178th.

Northmor’s girls finished seventh in the meet, as Sabrina Kelley took 18th in 22:33.5. Brooke Huntsman finished 38th in 23:49, Samantha Grogg ran 39th in 24:09 and Selena Cortez placed 48th in 24:24.5. Francesa Cutrupi took 75th in 26:19.8, Carolyn McGaulley was 99th in 27:33.6 and Tori Carver ran 130th in 30:40.5.

The Cardington girls finished 10th on the day. Emily Benson ran 39th in 23:53, while Alicia McElwee finished 40th in 23:53.3. Sage Brannon took 51st in 24:32 and Taylor Linkous placed 63rd in 25:15. Also, Bailey Shafer finished 65th in 25:23 and Ashlee Drury ran 174th in 44:36.

The boys didn’t field a full team. Quinn Maceyko placed 48th in 19:34, Greg Osborne finished 75th in 20:20, Spencer Benson was 115th in 21:39 and Racine Hallabrin took 164th in 24:34.

Also in the Division III boys’ race, Sean Linder was 22nd in 18:36.5 and Justin Jones took 67th in 20:04.3.

In the Division II boys’ race, Highland finished ninth. Dalton Lee took 33rd place in 18:14, while Collin Kipp ran 50th in 18:47.4 and Branton Howard was 50th in 18:47.4. Christian Buchholz was 68th in 19:11.9, Christian Miller took 84th in 19:26.5, Tyler Bowen took 87th in 19:28.5 and Bailey Damron finished 104th in 19:57.

Also, Zach Wetzel finished 108th, Nick O’Bryant was 133rd, Bruce Jordan took 143rd, Bode Sardinha ran 155th, Nefiano Bumpus placed 156th, Jacob Serio took 158th, Chandler Bumpus took 167th, Jimmy Tebbe was 202nd, Justin Brown ran 286th and Chase Higgins placed 306th.

The girls’ team was 19th. Highland’s Sophia Thompson finished 16thin 20:58.9, while Laura Spearman was 60th in 23:23.5 and Elizabeth Jensen claimed 101st in 24:55.9. Jenna Brown took 138th in 26:09.4, Hailey Howard placed 169th in 27:13.7, Samantha Trusler finished 183rd in 27:53.8 and Madison Cecil was 186th in 27:58.8. Also, Annie Bailey finished 203rd.
