The Mount Gilead golf team topped Cardington by a 173-197 margin in league action on Monday. The Indians improved to 4-0 in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference with the win, while Cardington fell to 2-2.

Zack Hosack shot two-under-par 34 to be match medalist for MG, while both Mallory Graham and Zach Trimble shot 46 and Mitchell Bell had a round of 47. Also, Jason Bolha shot 48 and Grant Hack scored 50.

For the Pirates, Austin Yake shot 39, while Nadia Kerman had a round of 47. Cayman Spires shot 53 and both Jacob Spires and Logan Doubikin scored 58. Cade Ruehrmund had a round of 66.

The Pirate JVs earned a win on the day by a 210-220 margin. Sage Brannon led the team with a round of 48. Also shooting were Mac Warren (50), Josh Shook (56), Liam Warren (56) and Christian Hand (63).

For Mount Gilead, Jacob Lodge shot 52. Also competing were Adam Linder (54), Brady Seitz (57), Mason Faux (57), Graham Simpson (60) and Zach Sellers (67).
