Judge David Gormley will be speaking to the Morrow County TEA Party on June 20 at 7 p.m. in the Mount Gilead Library Annex, 34 E. High Street

Judge Gormley is seeking Judgeship of the 5th District Court of Appeals.

He will tell of his background, campaign, the court of appeals, work as a trial judge and arguing at the U.S. Supreme Court.

He has a strong academic background, many years of experience handling difficult and important cases as a lawyer in both trial courts and appellate courts, and an eight-year track record of serving as a judge on two different trial courts.

Judge Gormley was instrumental in the successful effort to defend Ohio’s state motto “With God All Things are Possible” when the ACLU sued in federal court to prevent the display of that motto outside the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.

All activities of the Morrow County TEA Party (a non-partisan organization) are open to the public and all are welcome.

Please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to No Limits Outreach Center (please observe expiration dates). The TEA Party has a lending library with many good books and important information – check it out.
