Highland Elementary second grade students fill Bennington Glen with song

On May 6, the second grade classes of Highland Elementary brightened the day of the residents of Bennington Glen. More than 120 second graders happily sang, You’re a Grand Old Flag, She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain, Music Makes Me Sing and The Thank You Song.

As a community service project this school year, second grade classes at Highland Elementary have made and shared scarecrows, valentines, butterflies and patriotic streamers with those residing at Bennington Glen. The concert gave the residents and children a chance to exchange smiles and joy.
