Mohamed Mohamed of Grove City, Ohio, Adil Hassan of Columbus and Alinoor Alinoor of Gahanna, Ohio were arrested following an incident that extended from Tuesday night into the early hours of Wednesday morning.

On April 12 at approximately 9 p.m., the Mount Gilead Police Department responded to Discount Drug Mart on a report of a subject attempting to pass a fake prescription at the store’s pharmacy.

An off-duty deputy spotted a suspicious vehicle in the McDonald’s parking lot and reported it to police. Officers then stopped the vehicle, detaining the two of the three male subjects.

Within a few minutes of the arrest, officers were dispatched to a Morrow County residence on Township Road 127, after a resident reported a suspicious male subject in the area.

Police arrived and determined it was the suspect that fled from Discount Drug Mart.

The resident reported the suspect ran towards an adjacent creek and into a wooded area behind the home.

Officers, using-a K-9, were able to track the suspect a short distance but had to stop because of the high, swiftly moving water.

The caller stated she believed it was the suspect from earlier that officers had been looking for, and he was getting into a vehicle. Officers then stopped the vehicle and took the suspect into custody without incident.
