The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occured in Bennington Twp. last month.
Virgil Sheppard, a US armed forces veteran who served in the Vietnam War, reported to the office that his unit at the Marengo Storage facility had been broken into.
According to the report filed with the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, stolen from Sheppard’s storage area, among other things, was a 55-inch television, approxiamtely $700 worth of saved coinage and a collection of power tools.
The Vietnam veteran is offering a $1000 reward to anyone with information regarding the incident.
