March 31- Animal complaint

A Westview Drive resident called police to report that she had locked a raccoon in her bathroom after discovering it inside the home.

March 31- Theft

Employees at the Duke gas station on High Street reported that a man stole a box of cigarette tubes.

April 2- Vandalism

An officer was called to McDonald’s on West Marion Road in response to graffitti that was drawn on the south wall on the building. The suspected vandals were not able to be located.

April 3– OVI

A driver on West Marion Street was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, underage consumption of alcohol and five counts of child endangering.

April 3- Assit other unit

Police assisted a deputy from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic incident.

April 5- Theft

A North Walnut Street resident reported to police that her drugs were stolen.

April 5- Investigate complaint

Police were called to investigate what was thought to be gunshots on Lee Street. Upon arrival, the officer determined that someone had set off fireworks.

April 6- Traffic offense

An officer on patrol cited a driver on Bank Street for driving under suspension, illegal license plates and a light violation.

April 6- Burglary

Police were called to an Iberia Street business after someone broke into the building through a window.

April 6- Assist other unit

Mount Gilead Police were called to assist with a combative person on Marion Road.
