Thirteen Cardington-Lincoln High School juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society during a ceremony held March 14 in the Patrick Drouhard auditorium.

During the program emceed by senior Jacob Long, president, the following juniors were welcomed: Austin Yake, Malcolm Warren, Trent Tucker, Bailey Shafer, Chloe Patrick, Katharine McConnell, Derek Goodman, Zach Good, and Nathan Gardner.

Also earning NHS membership were seniors Lauren Hall, Jacob Foor, Samantha Brininger and Allison Ames.

They join current members Long, Sarah Norris, Elizabeth Crum, Cameron Deiter, Johnny Levings and Joshua Queener, all seniors.

Explaining the four membership criteria were Long, Scholarship; Norris, vice president, who explained Leadership; Crum, treasurer, Service and Dieter, treasurer, described the Character criteria.

The Cardington High School Chapter of the NHS was established in 1954.
