A total of 143 Heidelberg University student-athletes were honored earlier this semester not for their play on the field but for their achievements in the classroom. Among the students receiving a Landess Scholar-Athlete Award was Shawn Beltz of Mount Gilead.
Beltz is a senior football palyer majoring in health sciences.
